This is a film of students from Odsal House School for the Deaf in Bradford on a trip to Knaresborough and being presented with a Variety Club Sunshine Coach by the golfer Tony Jacklin.
The film begins with a group of children walking in a line and getting onto a privately hired bus. They get off at Knaresborough at the Dropping Well. After having a look around the town, they take a rest before visiting Knaresborough Zoo. They get back onto the coach and stop off at a golf course where they gather around an elderly woman teacher and some golfers sign autographs. Tony Jacklin presents a key to the woman teacher before sitting in the Variety Club Sunshine Coach for disabled people (written on the side it states: ‘Presented by the Leeds Committee of The Variety Club of Great Britain as a tribute to Tony Jacklin). They wave as the bus drives off. The film ends with some short film of the golf.
