This is a film of two family holidays on the Norfolk Broads made by Edward Warburton. The family and friends tour around the Broads, filming many of the landmarks and activities on their way.
The film begins on a boat on the Broads at Wroxham, with Jack Powlets in the distance. Mrs Warburton gets in the boat and they set off. Peter is steering at one point, and a woman sitting in a small rowing boat is being pulled along behind. They stop at Hickling Broad and the Pleasure Boat Inn.
Two boats go off in a rowing boat to join the many sailing boats out. Several boats are shown passing under Potter Heigham Bridge, and the Wherry Albion boat is also shown going under a low iron bridge. They travel on to Stokesby and Breydon Water, passing the windmill. They go through Reedham Swing Bridge. The holiday party are shown cleaning and having fun on board the boat.
The second part moves on to 1962. There is a race along a narrow stretch of water with sailing boats and canoes, possibly at South Walsham Broads. The cameraman (Mr Warburton?) comes into view, and there is a regatta on the River Bure, and again the Wherry Albion is passed. They also pass Coltishall, the Anchor Inn, Ranworth Broad and visit the church, again seeing the cameraman.
