The film begins on the platform of Haworth Station with engine 43924 attached to a train. Here, the footplate men are in conversation ready to leave. The train sets off, and part of the journey is filmed from the footplate. A token is passed to the driver as it passes a signal box. It arrives at Damens station and then Keighley. The Keighley station is crowded with train enthusiasts, many taking photos. The return journey is also filmed from the footplate, passing Ingrow tunnel and Oakworth station and arriving back at Howarth. Howarth is also now crowded with visitors. They set off again, with the driver and his mate looking out, and the film comes to an end.
