Intertitle – Corsica, Bastia A ship comes in to dock, and the campers journey by road. Intertitle – Calvi Two couples put up their tents near some trees on a hill and then go for a walk.  They pass goats and a local farmer with a donkey loaded with baggage.  A group of people walk through a town. Intertitle – Corte They visit a mountain stream where two boys ride on a donkey, and then the town where there is a wedding.  Two men stand on rocks by a river in their swimming trunks.  Local women walk by carrying goods on their heads. Intertitle – Acacia, The Market They look at the market, with children playing in the streets and fishermen pulling in their nets.  There are more donkeys. Intertitle – Gulf of Porto and Les Galances There is a view down onto Porto and they walk along a coastal road and cross a river in a rowing boat.  They stop for refreshment and take a boat trip along the coast. Intertitle – Back at Nice Passengers disembark from a ship. Intertitle – Austria 1951 There are a large group of about six people with their tents in a campsite.  They go for a walk.  A farmer passes with a horse and cart loaded with hay.  They arrive at a village and then go up a mountain cable car overlooking a town and a river.  There is a panoramic view of the mountains from the top.  They go for a walk, passing some sheep.  There is a sign for ‘Zell Am See’.  Again they go up on a mountain cable car. There is a campsite on the valley bottom next to a river. They take a trip on a lake.  A man gets hoisted up on a mountain lift. They visit a city, possibly Salsburg. They visit a waterfall and go for a hike carrying rucksacks.   Intertitle – Camping in Scandinavia 1953: all aboard for 3,000 miles People wave from a coach at a crowded bus station. There is a sign for entering Denmark. Intertitle – Odense Two coaches are parked in a campsite, where they gather around a man playing a guitar.  Several men comb their hair in front of the coach.  A group of children are next seen in a city, all sitting in one giant pram, and cars drive onto a boat. Intertitle – The Rally. Kobenhavm Campers are sat around their tents on a large campsite. Intertitle – The camp market Campers wander around some stalls. Intertitle – Our oldest inhabitant An elderly lady stands next to some guide ropes with washing on them. Intertitle – Dick and Arthur, the drivers. The bus drivers are shown. Intertitle – The Opening Ceremony A crowd gathers in front of a large building and there is a performance on a stage as national flags are raised on flag posts and a march past.  There is a large ornate fountain, possibly Copenhagen. Intertitle – We try the 5.20 pm local A train pulls into a station. Intertitle – Sweden. Orserum site. There is a brief shot of some people at a campsite. Intertitle – The local reporter gets in first. A man and a woman are talking, with a third person looking on, and a group of children pose for the camera. Intertitle – Milko A man in white clothing appears to be selling cups of milk. Intertitle – Sven rides a Vespa but Rudge a Rudge. A man on a Vespa with a fairing rides past, followed by a woman on a bike, filmed backwards. Intertitle – Jaunting-car at Visingso A tourist wagon is pulled along by two horses. Intertitle – Typical Swedish river scenes. There is a river and three women pose for the camera. Intertitle – We leave Sweden for Norway The coach drives along a road, showing the passengers on board.  They arrive in a city. Intertitle – Oslo, the City Hall The City Hall is shown with trams going past. Intertitle – Oslo. The Royal Palace Sentry The sentry marches past. Intertitle – The ferry docks at Grossenbrode The ferry is shown. Intertitle – Arnhem and home The holidaymakers pose in front of one of the coaches to have a group photograph. Intertitle – Holland Marren Three girls in Dutch traditional dress walk arm-in-arm, and there are others in traditional costume.  They drive through the countryside and arrive at a city with lots of people on bicycles, showing some of the sights of the city.  There is street sign stating ‘Haarlem 42, Leiden 17, Utrecht 62’, and a busy street with a traffic policeman.  They travel on a new motorway and appear to arrive in Amsterdam.  A plane is shown taking off.  There are more city views and another up a mountain chair lift. A sledge pulled by huskies travels along a snowy path, while the campers go on foot.  They are next back in a city posing again for the camera.  The coach departs, being waved off by several people.  The film ends showing a photograph of a man (Sven?).
