Title - XMAS across the water
Fiona, Alan Sidi’s daughter, comes out onto the veranda and shouts out for others to come in for dinner which is being prepared by Mrs Sidi. Inside the table is set and the Christmas tree and decorations are up. Mrs Sidi bastes the turkey and returns it to the oven. Paul Sidi, Alan’s son, uses a cine camera.
Family guests arrive and sit in the living room with drinks. Mrs Sidi makes the gravy and Alan Sidi carves the turkey. They sit down to eat, with a view of the sea in the background. They pull the Christmas crackers. Alan Sidi lights the Christmas pudding and Mrs Sidi dishes it out. After dinner they sit by the coal fire and the presents are distributed and unwrapped.
Alan makes his way down to the sea in his diving gear and dives in. Then Fiona and Paul appear next to the house in scary looking outfits, with Fiona playing the accordion. Alan returns from the swim, and they are again seated around the fire as Paul plays Come all Ye Faithful on his trumpet. The film finishes at night time showing a light on in the house.
