The film begins with members of the club out walking in a wood. They stop for refreshment, sharing a melon, and then continue through a farm, taking a rest on logs and a bale of hay. They carry on across a field.
An older group is at the side of a river, and some youths emerge from a pot hole. The group clamber up some rocks and stand on the top of a cliff, possibly at Malham, walking across moorland, near some water. They stand by some rocks overlooking a village. Then two lads threaten to throw a girl into a river, while others climb up a rock face. There is more walking about near a stream, and they continue over moorland, passing a mountain stream where they take a rest, with a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. They stop by a lake or reservoir, possibly at Malham Tarn Nature Reserve. The film ends with them having found an ice cream stall.
