This is one of many films made by amateur filmmaker Joh (Jack)E Dyson of Leeds.  This one is of the family camping in Scotland, with a brief visits to Suffolk.   The film begins with the family on a visit to Suffolk.   The next part of the film was taken on a family visit to the miniature railway at Temple Newsam Park, Leeds.  The boys slide down a sand embankment. Title – Scotland There is a large pile of bricks from a demolished building.  The family has a picnic next to a loch.  This is followed by a bulldozer rescuing a lorry which has got stuck in mud in a field. The family continues to drive on to a beach, passing countryside views and sheep herded in the road.  They drive on again, along twisted coastal roads, and the footage is filmed from the front of the car.  The boys are swimming in the sea before heading to the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis.  Interior shots of the lighthouse are included.  The family then drives over the Firth of Forth Bridge and along another coastal road past another, very old, lighthouse.
