Part of the Pashley Collection, this film is a travelogue of a journey to Wales.  The film contains scenic footage of some of the country’s famous sites and attractions.  Intertitles are used throughout to identify the locations to which the filmmaker and his wife travelled.  Title – Croeso Cymru Title – Welcome to Wales The film opens which scenic views of the landscape.  Title – Harleeh The filmmaker and his wife visit the castle there before venturing into the town centre where they go shopping. Title - … shades of Italy in… Portmeirion The town is full of small cottages and buildings which reflect Italian architecture. Title – Menai Bridge The bridge is shown from a number of different angles.  Traffic can be seen crossing the bridge, and the filmmaker also shows the surrounding landscape. Title – Caernarvon Castle There are shots of the castle as well as the water which is near the grounds and contains a few small boats. Sign – Snowdon Mountain Railway Passengers await the departure.  The train leave the station and makes its way along a scenic journey near mountains and rolling hills, all of which are filmed from the train.  At the top of the mountain, the passengers get off the train and have a look around. Once back at the station, the film moves onto show more scenes of the surrounding landscape.  This includes a visit to Swallow Falls.  Title – Conway The large bridge and castle at Conway are shown. Title – Bodelwyddan Marble Church The church is shown from a distance and then closer up.  It has a tall steeple.  Title – Bodnant Gardens. Colourful flowers which fill the gardens are filmed, many times in close up.  Sign – Valle Crucis Abbey Ancient Monument Sign – Chain Bridge and Horse Shoe Falls The previously mentioned picturesque places are shown, and some of the tourists at the destinations can also be seen.  Here the film comes to an end.
