There are lots of people entering the building and studying the paintings that are mounted on all of the walls inside the hall. There is a shelf unit in one of the rooms and each shelf is covered with objects. A man sits at a table in one of the rooms and looks through papers. He calls a woman over who studies the pages with him. Then they both smile at the camera. A newspaper clipping reads `Ancient pottery to be fired on civic hall steps'. A table has been set up on the steps of the hall and an improvised kiln and pots of paint are laid out. The pottery makers show people how to paint and fire the pottery, and then crowds of local people try it themselves. They all paint their piece of ceramic, and the pottery maker puts it into the kiln. Once they are fired, he plunges them into water and finally buffs them up with a cloth.
