There then follows close ups of snow drops are followed by shots of bees entering the flowers and more shots showing other plants and birds.
The film then moves onto springtime and the garden is full of daffodils, blackbirds, thrushes and more colourful flowers. Birds are on the lawn feeding on bread that has been left for them. There is a nest full of baby birds which all have their beaks wide open, begging for food. Following this are shots of the entire garden from upstairs and then shots of the nesting box and the growing birds sitting in and around it singing.
There are shots of a rabbit going across the flower beds and then a shot from an upstairs window looking at a bird utilising a nesting box. This is followed by close ups of the chicks which are now grown but are still in the nest.
The following shots are taken in summertime are consist of close ups of the colourful flowers that fill the garden in full bloom. The chicks have now flown the nesting box which is now taken over by bees. A man goes up to it and gently lifts it off a wall and opens it up and removes a bee's nest.
In the next section there are close ups of pansies, roses and ladybirds, bees pollinating flowers, birds and rabbits.
The film closes in winter when the garden is covered in snow once more, and there are close ups of spider-webs covered in ice crystals. The final shot is of a winter sunset.
