This amateur film of a trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses was shot by Betty Cook,  the President of the Cleveland Cine Society and the North East Cine Society. The film opens with a map of the islands. A group wait on the quayside at Seahouses for their boat trip to the Farne Islands. In the background,  fishing boats are moored in the harbour. The boat pulls away from the jetty and travels across the sea. Various shots follow of the variety of different sea bids on one of the islands, including guillemots, gulls, puffins, terns and shags. As the boat travels to another island, it passes cliffs full of birds, either perched on the rocks or nesting. A number of sea lions swim near to the boat as it heads back to Seahouses. The group walk across a car park and onto a waiting bus. Title: The End.
