Title - North Yorkshire Moors Railway
The film opens with a steam train travelling through the moors. Station clock at Pickering and large crowd greet the arrival of the train, and a small celebration is held to when the clock is unveiled. The train then goes to Grosmont in torrential rain. The opening ceremony for the Museum is performed by the head of the tourist board, and there are good shots of the volunteer men working on the line relaying the track. Skelton tower is shown and used as a good vantage point for the next shot of the steam train passing by on its way to Goathland.
A recycling project, specifically paper and glass, is used as a fund raiser for the railway. Finally, there is the presentation of the P3 engine to the National Railway Museum in York with accompanying voice over. The film ends with good shots of P3 in action through the countryside.
