Description An amateur film by Maurice Clyde showing the landing of the last Vulcan XL319 aircraft at Sunderland Airport at Usworth near Sunderland on the 21st January 1983.
The film begins with the Vulcan aircraft attempting to land, but pulling up at the last minute. A small crowd standing on the grass next to the runway watch on with interest. A second attempt to land is made and again is aborted. A third attempt is made and is successful with its parachute being deployed.
