Title:
A seaside camping holiday is best.
The change is as good as a rest!
A signpost points to St Crispin’s Camp. A small camp site is full of caravans and large tents. Jean Winter and her daughter Maureen leave the tent for a day on the beach. Leonard Winter places a table at the entrance to the family tent. Jean and Maureen head down the road, crossing a bridge and walking along a promenade.
Back at the campsite, an enamel bowl containing potatoes has been placed on the table. Leonard Winter, left behind to do the cooking, starts to peel the potatoes.
Title: One of the changes?
Leonard is at the campsite in his shorts and sun visor. Down on the beach, a boy is seated on a donkey named ‘Claude’. Children are having rides on the seaside donkeys, including Maureen. Meanwhile, her father is lighting a camp stove back at the camp site. He sets a pan of potatoes on to boil.
On the beach, Jean is in a fetching two-piece beachwear halter top and shorts. Maureen has also changed into her swimsuit. Jean pulls off her shorts to reveal swimwear beneath. A brief shot of Claude the donkey follows. Jean fixes a swimming hat on her daughter. The two go down to the sea, paddling and splashing in the waves.
Title: And now to rest
Leonard gestures from the tent as his wife and daughter return. Maureen has acquired a giant lollipop. They settle at the table to eat. Leonard starts to set the table with teacups, but he leans on the table to sit down and it collapses.
