An amateur fiction film made by Bob Wrightson telling the story of a young girl, Pauline, who goes in search of berries in the fields around the village of Murton in Country Durham. While on her journey she is chased by an older boy who is wearing a pair of tights over his head. However, she is saved by a group of small children who come to her rescue and chase the boy away. The film ends with her continuing her journey and picking berries before making her way home.

The film begins with a woman coming out her back gate looking for someone. She walks towards a piece of waste ground near her home still before turning around and heading back through the gate.
The woman walks along a path beside an end terraced house before turning and walking back. She looks down from a bridge and walks along a path towards another street of terraced houses.
Two juvenile jazz bands turn out of Wood’s Terrace past the Colliery Inn and march behind their banners along Church Street in Murton.
The woman walks along the driveway of a large house towards a set of iron gates.
A young girl, the Pauline of the title, walks along a track on the outskirts of Murton carrying a small handbag. She walks across a rough grassy field towards a bush.
With a pair of tights over his head a young boy approaches Pauline who runs away, the boy giving chase. General views of Pauline running through the countryside with the boy chasing after her. She moves cautiously through bushes and on occasion stops to look back to see if the boy is following.
The boy stops, turns and runs away as a group of seven young children appear carrying sticks and chase after him.
With the boy gone, Pauline comes out of some bushes and walks along a track. She walks along a railway line and comes through a farm gate heading across a field and then another track with the village of Murton in the distance.
Arriving at a bush she begins to pick the berries and places them in her handbag. The film ends with her making her way home along another rubbish strewn track.
