Title: Along the Amalfi Coast
The film cuts to views of the Amalfi coastline are followed by views taken from a boat. On land, views taken at a distance show a town built high into the cliffs (probably the town of Amalfi in the Province of Salerno). General views follow of an old town centre.
The film cuts to a group of people play ball on a beach, elsewhere a small sailing dinghy is being repaired. A signpost on a wall gives directions to Amalfi and Napoli. General views follow of cliffs and coastline, and of streets and buildings in the old towns along the Amalfi coast. A view of a highly decorated boat shows its prow in the shape of a horse (?).
The film cuts to a view of a nameplate on a gatepost which reads 'Hotel La Bussola' which is in the town of Amalfi. General views follow of traffic and lanes in an old part of town. A high angle view shows casual tables outside in the sun shaded by brightly coloured umbrellas. General views follow of pavement cafe's and bars.
General views show decorated plates and plaques mounted on a wall. Tourists drink from a fountain. A red carpet is laid on steps leading up to a church. More general views follow of town streets and architecture. A colourful vegetable and fruit market is shown as well as someone selling live chickens. A man sells fish (?) from the back of a small lorry. On the island of Capri(?) a chairlift takes passengers to the top of a mountain probably Mount Solaro.
General views show Romano-Greek ruins possibly at Paestum. The film ends with the coach returning to Amalfi and more general views of the town.
