An amateur film, possibly by Betty Cook, of an equestrian gymkhana event and award ceremony taking place at Marske-by-the-Sea in July 1965. The film begins on a sign laid out on the grass that reads ‘Car Park’ with an arrow next to it. General view of a long line of cars parked in a field and a small group of people standing beside someone on horseback. A panoramic view of the showground follows, recording a policeman and two other riders on horseback, a large marquee, parked cars and a crowd watching the riding events.  Around the show field, people watch as a man on horseback completes a circuit of the course jumping a number of fences. On a number of occasions the horse refuses to jump. Trophies are laid out on a table. Another rider completes the course. He has difficulty getting the horse to take a jump. A number of bricks in a walled-fence are knocked over by the horse. The film ends with a number of riders being presented with trophies and trotting off the field.
