The film shows a group looking around a hanger containing various small aircraft, speaking with members of the airport fire service and looking around the control tower. The film also contains views of various aircraft taxiing along the runway. The film opens on a light aircraft parked near at hangar at Teesside Airport with one of its doors open. The air traffic control tower quickly cuts to show a different light aircraft parked inside a hangar. Outside on the runway the first aircraft seen at the beginning of the film taxis past. A small crowd stands on the tarmac. A man walks past holding a long pole, the film cuts to show two other light aircraft taxiing by. Three more people approach the group now standing near the hangar. A woman films using a video camera. Inside a hangar a view of a helicopter and a light aircraft. Looking back out onto the runway an aircraft taxis past. The controls inside an aircraft cuts to a woman posing beside another inside the hangar Outside a view of the air traffic control tower cuts to show a sign on the runway with rotating beacon’s which reads ‘Slow. Manoeuvring Area’. A light aircraft taxis past. A couple stand chatting on a grassed area. Inside a building, a poster on the wall reads ‘Know Your Aircraft!’ Outside a view of a red Land Rover emergency vehicle. Two women walk around inside a fire station past an appliance. A passenger plane comes into land at the airport. A firefighter speaks with the group and there are views of some of the appliances at the fire station. On the runway, the passenger plane continues to taxi. Another passenger airplane taxis on the runway. From the control tower views show planes taking off. Shots of men at the controls and on their radio headsets ends the film.
