While on the beach the film shows the adults playing a version of beach tennis while his two daughters  play with two different sized rubber rings in the surf. The film opens on a family walking along a country road, with two young girls picking flowers along the curbside. The film changes to the beach at Beadnell where two women play a game of tennis with two rackets. As they are playing a girl in bathing costume rolls a rubber ring along the sand and into the surf. Back at the game, two men join the women in playing in a game of beach tennis. The young girl takes a smaller rubber ring and sits in it in the surf. She is joined by her younger sister who runs back up the beach. The film cuts to show the younger girl now playing in the surf as her older sister rolls the larger ring away. A general view shows a small group playing ball games using rackets on the beach. The older girls sit on the ring in the surf. The younger girl now in shorts and t-shirt plays in the sand and the film ends with the older girl still sitting in the rubber ring in the surf.
