The film begins on a steam enthusiasts excursion train, and a passenger eye view taken from a carriage window looking ahead along the trains length. The train progress through city suburbs and then continues through open countryside, going past trees and hedgerows until once again it progresses through a suburban area. Enthusiasts on board take film and photographs, as the train negotiates a curve. The film cuts to open country again,as it goes under a stone road bridge, where other enthusiasts have gathered to take photo's. The film ends with general views of the rest of the journey through open country.
