The film begins at a racing circuit with cars speeding past as part of a race. Following a Morris Minor driving up and down a country road or track, members take part in a timed driving test near to a large latticed metal building. The film ends with vehicles driving along a country road and a vintage car turning into a field where other cars are parked. Title: Motor Sport 1958 The film opens at a racing circuit with a series of ordinary road cars, including Morris Minors and Ford Anglias (Model 100E) speeding past the camera. The film cuts to the starting line and a man with a red flag waves off two cars, one a red Aston Martin, the other possibly a Porsche. A small crowd watches as other cars are sent off in groups of three. Views from various positions around the track show the cars speeding past. The film changes to show a Morris Minor travelling along a track near Gosforth Park Racecourse. It comes to a stop, and reverses before moving forward again. The car does this several times. A green MGA sports car drives around a number of bollards followed by views of cars driving at speed around the circuit again. On the bonnet of another car two men look at a map. Overlooking the valley below cars are parked along a country road with the drivers and passengers standing nearby relaxing. The film cuts to show a number of cars completing an obstacle course besides a high lattice metal and brick wall. In the distance a large brick building can be seen, possibly a hangar at an airfield. Along a country road a man on a motorbike drives past twice. A car, a Ford Consul (?) is then filmed twice driving along the road followed by a van and another car, an Austin A90, passing by once. The film ends with an open top vintage car travelling along a country road and turning into a field where other cars are parked. Title: The end
