Early morning, a pair of gloves are washed and hang up on a washing line.
The Boys comes out of a newsagents carrying his bag of newspapers passing a sandwich board with the newspaper headline ‘Child Killer: Note Beside Body’. Nearby a man sits at the wheel of a red Ford Escort.
Along a street The Boy comes delivering his newspapers, the red Escort following him. He sees the car, turns along an alley kicking a piece of red plastic on the path. The car stops, reverses, and parks alongside the alley.
On a grassed area nearby two boys throw a frisbee. The Boy comes over placing his newspaper bag nearby and joins them playing with the frisbee. The car turns town the alley and parks beside the newspaper bag watching. Children play in a playground nearby.
Another man walks around a corner looking towards the boys, he points at his watch before turning and walking away. The two boys’ wave as they leave the field, The Boy looks across at the man watching from the Red Escort. Children continue to play on swings and a roundabout.
The Boy sits on a swing playing with the frisbee. He throws it and it lands in front of the red Escort. The man gets out of the car, picks up the frisbee and throws it at The Boy. They both toss the frisbee to-and-fro, only the mans gloved hands are shown.
The man gets into the red Escort followed by The Boy, the man’s face obscured by the car mirror. They drive away.
A young man, his face now shown, sits at the wheel of the car talking to The Boy. The car comes around a roundabout and passes the newsagent again. The film ends on the sandwich board outside the newsagent with a new headline; ‘Killer Child: Another Man Dead’.
