Wedding guests hang around outside the church chatting and smiling at the camera. A mother drops confetti on the head of the young girl with bouquet. The bridesmaids climb into the back of a taxi and the happy couple pose once more beside the wedding car. The groom places his arm around his bride’s shoulders as the car pulls away from the church, the couple waving as they pass. The taxi containing the bridesmaids and a third car follow.
The film changes to show the couple now in casual wear getting into a car. A hand written sign on the passenger door reads ‘Running In First Day’. Toilet paper is draped over the car as it reverse out of a car park. Well-wishers wave to the happy couple as thye pull out of the car park at the Hunting Lodge public house in Whitley Bay, a second car following behind. A second sign on the driver’s side door reads ‘Just Married’. The film ends with guests milling around outside the Hunting Lodge chatting happily.
