A patrol of Girl Guides stands outside the church entrance holding a number of flags as parishioners make their way inside The parade now makes it way along Cheviet View, crossing the River Pont and turning into Callerton Lane, two Brownies hold hands and smile at the camera. Two men and woman stand on a raised platform, one of the men is wearing a red gown. The leader of the pipe band approached and salutes before returning to his band leading them past those on the platform Blank In a field near a number of parked caravans a man writes onto a newspaper, three other stand around him watching. Two women each throw a quoit, the second lands around a metal spike. The second woman throws two more followed by two men. A small crowd gathers around watching. A number of children compete in a sack rack, one boy throws himself across the finish line. The film ends on two women playing a game of quoits.
