Description
An incomplete amateur film produced by Doug Collender of a family holiday to Jersey in the Channel Islands. The film features visits to a number of popular tourist destinations such as Elizabeth Castle which is reached by an amphibious vehicle. A trip to the Fantastic Tropical Gardens includes a performance by a group of Thai dancers.

From a coastal path a small stone quayside in the near distance. Closer a number of small boats are moored on a sandy beach. A small group look over a fence on the beach below them.
Inside the Jersey Pearl shop a display of beads hanging over a pool of water like branches in a tree. A number of people go inside.
Outside the entrance of the Fantastic Tropical Gardens a number of advertising signs for attractions inside, a woman with a video camera films inside the gardens including a fountain and a dovecote. A Thai woman dressed in traditional costume hands out drinks to visitors before they walk around a tropical garden. A number of dancers give a performance of a traditional Thai dance for the watching sightseers.
Tourists walking around the deck of a sailing ship changes to butterflies inside a butterfly house at the Jersey Butterfly Centre.
A number of houses are built alongside a road overlooking sand dunes and the sea. The woman with the video camera films a long sandy beach followed by people walking along or sit on deck-chairs on it. An apartment complex built next to a busy road changes to a decorative and colourful garden.
Passengers climb aboard and amphibious vehicle which drives into the sea and sails across St Aubin’s Bay to Elizabeth Castle. On the island a couple speak with a man in military uniform and views around the castle. A woman looks though a set of public binoculars at the town of St Helier in the distance. The amphibious vehicle drives along the causeway back to the mainland.
A train vehicle is parked along the promenade changes to a farm with barn and silo building. Mont Orgueil or Gorey Castle overlooking the harbour at Gorey, other boats are moored at a nearby marina. Cars drive along a street in St Helier.
Back at the Fantastic Tropical Gardens the Thai dancers continue to perform with the audience applauding. An owl flies onto a gloved hat, a number in a watching group film or video the event including the woman seen previously. In the water nearby a mechanical crocodile, its mouth opening and closing.
General views of various flowers growing in the garden are intercut with two women posing beside a statue and a wildlife show taking place on a small stage. The film ends with a phantom car ride along Jersey’s narrow roads.
