A passenger ferry crossing the water passing many smaller vessels sailing on the water as well as a submarine. Two women stand chatting beside a wall.
At night lights onboard ships give the outline of many of the vessels moored there.
A group of spectators stand on an embankment as more Royal Naval vessels and helicopters sail or fly over the harbour. Many of those in the crowd are using binoculars. The Royal Yacht Britannia sailing into Portsmouth Harbour, crowds along the quayside watching and taking photographs as the ship passes.
Crowds fill a beach with many large ships moored in then near distance all along the coastline.
