As the film progresses everyone becomes more and more intoxicated with some singing while other get up to dance. The film also featured a group of then in blacked-up faces performing on stage. A number of older couples sit at tables set up against a wall drinking and chatting happily. Around the room men and women of various ages also sit around tables drinking and chatting. A man comes over to one table carrying a tray of drinks, some look and smile at the camera as it passes. One man moves his head from side-to-side much to the amusement of those around him. A man holds up a red ticket, another raises his hands for the camera. A group of men and women in costumes and blacked-up faces perform a song routine on a stage, people continue drinking and chatting. Two men hold a drinking competition to see who can down their pints of beer the quickest, other men around the room finish their pints. A number of women begin singing and moving in unison side-to-side, one women raises her drink and blows a kiss at the camera. More and more people in the club join in on the singing each bobbing to-and-fro. Behind the bar two barmaids and a man work to serve customers with a smile, some people begin to dance on a small dancefloor. One man wipes another’s face which still has black face paint on it from the performance seen earlier, another man still in costume and face-paint sits on his knees. An older couple sits nearby, the man puts on a fake beard before kissing the woman. They both laugh. The film ends on a woman sitting beside the man with the partially painted face, they pose together cheek-to-cheek before kissing gently. End title: The end
