An amateur film made inside a social club on Teesside begins with men and women enjoying drinks and conversation during a party. This is followed by a wedding reception presumably taking place at the same club with guest appreciating a meal.
Men and women, some in paper party hats, sit around small tables drinking and chatting. All are smartly dressed, the women in colourful dresses and jewellery and the men in suits. Two women raise their pints of beer to the camera, another gets to her feet and begins to sing for the camera.
Nearby a group of men, one wearing a pirate hat, and a woman sit drinking. The woman hugs the man sitting next to her tightly, he raises his thumb. Couples of various ages sit together chatting and drinking happily, some smoke cigarettes other’s pipes. Everyone is having a good time.
A woman comes over and sits on a man’s knees, nearby an older and younger couple pose together for the camera.
At the bar two barmaids pull pints of beer, on the bar in front of them two trays containing twelve pints. Other bar staff serve other customers.
The film changes to a long table around which wedding guests sit enjoying a meal. A well-dressed woman sips a cup of tea while others around her eat their food. Vases of daffodils are set up along the table, on a smaller table behind the party is a three tiers wedding cake.
The wedding cake is moved in front and centre as the guests enjoy their desert. People chat happily as plates of cake are offered around. The film ends on a table set up against a wall a full of various bottles of spirits as well as a keg of beer.
