Animated top hats rain down the picture and a bearded figure appears wearing a top hat, bow tie and a jacket. He raises his hat and a cine camera mounted on a tripod appears standing on his head.
Title: The Mad Animhatters Tea Party
Accompanied by urgent piano music the speeded up film opens showing a typist at work at a typewriter
The view changes to an over-the-shoulder view of a figure sitting at a table wearing a tall top hat made of newsprint; on the table is a bottle of wine and four candles.
The figure is the Mad Hatter and is quite small and sits on a small chair which placed on a stool next to the table. He waves a wand and the table fills up with food and drink.
Guests join the party and take seats at the table. They help themselves to food and drink
The camera view moves around the table but behind the guests. The camera angle changes showing the guests falling asleep at the table and sliding underneath.
The Mad Hatter waves his arms and the table starts spinning, the food and drink disappear.
The film goes back to the typist seen at the beginning of the film, who stops typing and leaves her chair, ending the film.
