Along the River Wear at Durham, two coxed rowing boats compete as part of the annual regatta tournament. Large crowds watch from the riverbanks as the two teams row past. Blank A second race on the Wear gets underway with both teams pulling hard to win. A third race begins from a ponton in the middle of the river. One team wait for their race to begin before getting underway. A fifth team in blue rather than white shirts start their race. A man rowing on his own changes to show a race from a different position along the Wear passing crowds sitting and watching from concrete steps along the riverbank.
