Title - Leeds Cine Club Super Eight Group Proudly Present Leeds Lord Mayor's Parade, Saturday 31st May In the Leeds Merrion Centre a group of young women, all dressed in white, are handing out flyers for the Lord Mayor's Parade. They go off around the city centre streets handing out the flyers to shoppers. Tents and Marquees are being erected on Woodhouse Moor, and then the floats start arriving. A tank is driven off an articulated lorry. There is a large model of HMS Ark Royal. The floats are being prepared for the Parade. The organisers have Leeds Junior Chamber of Commerce high visibility vests. Young people are blowing up balloons with gas cylinders. At Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House, where the Gypsy Princess is showing, children are dancing on the stage, and there are some boys who have appeared in adverts. Back at Woodhouse Moor people are in their fancy dress costumes. Some on the parade are having a picnic on the grass.
