The film begins showing traffic lights with the new green sign for cyclists. In the centre of York cyclists are riding around and there are signs for cycle ways. As cyclists pass by, a police officer inspects the tax disc on a Riley Elf and writes out a parking ticket. A cyclist chains up his cycle at a cycle parking place in the city centre. More road signs are shown. A cyclist rides by pulling a small trailer. There is a sign for Monk Bar cycle route, and several cyclists park their bikes against the railings of a building. In the window of a car showroom is advertised the new Cortina Carousel for £4,500, while a cycle also has a For Sale ticket for £89. There is a shop sign for "the cycle centre" in which are shown the range of cycles, accessories and cycle clothing. More cycle routes are shown, such as the one for Fishergate, and the film closes with another look at traffic lights with the new green sign for cyclists.
