Title - First class golf at Shipley.
A large group of golfers have gathered in rows for a photograph, while women and other supporters watch from the rear. Two popular players are the captured smoking cigarettes while sitting with their caddies. A golfer then makes a drive and the next shot shows the crowd marching down the green as they follow the game.
Title - Gliding at Sutton Bank.
This sequence features various shots of gliders being taxied through the air by a propeller plan, then being released to glide through air, before landing in a field.
Title - Snowstorm 1933.
This sequence opens with a shot of a truck driving down a street with snowy verges either side. The following shots show more of Shipley in the snow; people walk through the streets, trams sidle through the snow, a dog bounds happily in the white fields, and finally a woman uses cross country skis to get around.
Title - The royal visit to Leeds.
From a raised vantage point, the filmmaker captures the royal motorcade as it passes large crowds, who have gathered on a street in Leeds. The royal cars are accompanied by soldiers on horseback, and once the procession has passed through, the crowd disperse and people spill out across the street.
Title - Thoresry Masonic outing. 1934.
Groups of people, wearing formal summer wear, walk under an arch as they pass the camera. The final shot in this sequence shows a man wondering through large stone blocks, which have a resemblance to those found in Stonehenge.
Title - A day in the trough in Bolland.
The camera is positioned at the rear of a car, and captures a convoy of cars as they drive towards Bolland. A group of people then rest on the banks of the river, and some people venture into the water for a quick dip. The cars return to the road, and the filmmaker then cuts to an outdoor ceremony lead by a priest, who addresses a sizeable crowd. There are more shots from the road, which are broken up by a scene of a man crossing a stream on a beam of wood. The film concludes with a lengthy passage that shows Alsatians performing tricks that demonstrate their obedience, athleticism and intelligence.
