The film begins showing a couple going to a travel agency and then arriving at the train station in Hull with their bags to catch a coach to the Ellerman Line Passenger Terminal. The coach travels through Hull City Centre in the direction of Hedon, arriving at the King George and Queen Elizabeth Docks. There the couple pick up a timetable and book their trip. A poster advertises an Autumn Mini Cruise form Hull to Gothenburg from £22. The Reception and rooms on board the ship are shown. The couple go aboard. The film switches to another journey from Hull, with a road sign showing the junction of the A165 with that of the A1033. Again the couple are shown boarding, and then settling into their room. They are then briefly seen at Hull Railway Station. The ferry is tugged out to sea, and passengers sit on the deck and play table tennis. Two women relax in a Swedish sauna. The couple go on a coach trip in Sweden, visiting various sights. Back on board the ferry passengers do some fancy dancing to a band, before dining in the restaurant. The couple have a go on a one-arm-bandit and buy cigarettes from a cigarette machine. There follows more film of what has gone before, and the film comes to an end.
