The film shows London from above and then the retail centre. It is narrated by CE, the General Manager, who is seen greeting shoppers. The narration explains the first stages of the ideas for the new shopping centre, and runs through the whole process of its planning, consultation, building and opening. It shows the shops, including Eaton's and Woolworths. The film highlights the features of the shopping mall, which includes hosting a fashion show, exhibitions, an auction, a display of Cadillacs, dancing, and other entertainment events. The film ends showing the film being edited using a splicer.
