This is a film made by Derrick Walton of the family gardens at different seasons. Title – Our Gardens The film begins with a man standing in his front garden.  Then, with his sleeves rolled up, he is in the back garden carrying a watering can.  It is a sunny day, and the flowers are shown in bloom in the front garden.  The film switches to winter with everything covered in snow, and birds feeding in the back garden which looks out onto fields.  The surrounding landscape is seen covered in snow. Then back to spring, showing several flowers in close up.  On a country lane a car is parked up as others pass by.  A group of houses are situated high up on the road, surrounded by gardens full of flowers.  A woman picks some yellow flowers from around the garden. There are close ups of some of the flowers, including tulips, daffodils and orchids.  Then there is film of the countryside in the neighbourhood of the house in summer. Intertitle – “Kimberlea”    A group of houses are shown before moving in on the front garden of one house which is covered in tulips, daisies and other flowers.  A man has a pigeon house, and looks over a rockery, also covered in flowers.  Two men and two women stand in front of the house.  One of the men in a beekeeping hat and gloves shows part of a bee hive to the others.  They have a walk around the wonderfully colourful garden, showing many of the flowers in close up.
