This is an unedited piece of film which appears to show the former racing car driver James Hunt larking about with some of the Formula 1 Hesketh team.
The film begins showing a man wearing a racing helmet with “James Hunt” on it. A man and a woman, each wearing masks, hang up a Team Titan racing suit using a block and tackle pulley. Although it is only possible to see a part of the racing driver’s face, it does appear to be James Hunt. They attempt, unsuccessfully and with some comedy, to lower the racing driver into a racing car.
(Long blank section of film)
The film briefly returns to the original scene, and then another blank section, followed by a slightly out of focus title.
Title – Poodle Productions Presents: Patron a Lust for Glory
This stays up for some time before there is another blank section of film followed by an image of the moon framed by trees, and an image of Easton Neston, the country house in Northamptonshire designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor.
[Easton Neston was the home of Thomas Alexander Fermor-Hesketh, 3rd Baron Hesketh, who owned the Hesketh racing team that James Hunt raced for between 1973-1975.]
