In this sequence the filmmaker captures all the exotic animals that can be found in modern day zoos such as monkeys, giraffes, lions and zebras. There are also more unusual scenes (by contemporary standards), which depict a zoo keeper playing with a baby crocodile, a monkey wearing a dress - who is openly paraded around the zoo grounds - and shots of hippo's being fed by members of the public. There are many views of the Abbey which show tourist exploring the archaic stone ruins. Scaffolding can be seen rigged up against the wall of the Abbey exterior, and the final shot shows more of the lush verdant grounds followed by a lake.
