Part of the Hattersley Collection, this is a short film which was taken during a ski trip to Cairngorms, Scotland in 1965.
The film opens the bottom of a mountain range where the family and friends have set up camp in a lightly snow covered area. Later the group go to their cars that are parked by a lake. Here they collect their skis. Both adults and children head off with their skis flung over their shoulders. They then stand in a group and pose near a ski lift.
The film then cuts to show a point of view shot of the view as the lift makes its way up the mountain. Once at the top, the group all start skinning together. The skiers are clearly having fun on the slopes as the film comes to an end.
