The main road runs along the sea front, and some cars drive along it away from the camera. A building and a pier can be seen in the distance while a horse and cart are also on the road. The next shot is taken from high up looking down at the bridge going across the water in Whitby. The houses and buildings can be seen in the background and foreground and there is also a brief shot of Whitby Abbey. A speedboat comes out of the harbour and speeds out to sea. This is followed by a shot of a building with `The Spa' written on it and a shot of the Captain Cook statue. The final shots are of a barge moving along a canal with people watching from the banks.
