The Cooper family are filmed here visting family and friends and having them visit in return. They are also shown at their family home (Rondor) in Leeds.

Mick (son) pedals his kart up the driveway at Rondor. He pedals down the driveway and round the front of the house, past the windows and front doors to the bottom of the drive where he waves at the camera.
Title - "Tyre Trouble"
Jill, (daughter) and Mick roll the inner tube of a tyre to one another in the back garden at Rondor and Dora, (mum) plays with them. A man throws the tube over the top of Mick. Mick tries to do the same over the man but he is too tall. Both Jill and Mick sit inside the tube and then struggle to get out, before rolling down the garden.
Mick, Dora and Jill hold hands and walk towards the camera and play ring-a-ring-a-roses. Jill skips then she and Mick receive a donkey ride from Ron, (dad).
Jill carries a parasol and walks with Dora around the garden. Mick runs after them and Jill and Mick walk together.
Title - "West Houses We visit Aunt Ellen and Henry 1948"
Henry, Mick, Aunt Ellen, (Birch - Dora's dad's sister) and Jill are in a garden pulling daffodils from the grass. Aunt Ellen, Dora and Henry walk in the garden and are joined by Jill and Mick. Jill, Aunt Ellen and Henry stand in front of the window and front door of Aunt Ellen's house. Mick walks up the steps to join them, and they walk down the steps back into the garden together.
Title - "Whitelands Nanny and Pa Thomas at home"
Dora, Nanny and Pa Thomas, (Dora's parents) and Jill stand outside their house while Mick runs around the garden. Ron joins them and gives Pa Thomas a cigarette.
Jill and Mick water the plants in the front garden of Rondor while Dora watches, then run down the drive holding hands. Mick pedals down the drive in his kart.

Mr. and Mrs. Platt walk across the road and up the driveway. (The Platts lived across the road from the Coopers, at Rawdon Drive.) Jill and Mick hold hands and walk around the garden.

Leslie (Ron's brother), Ron, Ma Cooper (Ron's mum), Geoff (Ron's younger brother), Pa Cooper (Ron's dad), stand up with Jill, Mick and Nan (Kathleen Annie - Ron's sister), sitting in front of them in the garden.

Mr. and Mrs. Boston walk around the corner of their house and into the garden with Jill and Mick.
Title - "Mr and Mrs Platt. Mary and Valerie"
The group and Jill in the Platt's garden. Mr Platt and Jill hold hands with Valerie and walk her towards the camera. Then Mr and Mrs Platt, Mary, Valerie and Jill all walk down their driveway.

Jill, Dora and Ron sit in deckchairs in the back garden of Rondor reading books, and Jill has her parasol.

Janice, Les, Dora, Jill and Mick in the front garden of Rondor. Les wheels Jill around the garden on a sack truck, then pushes Mick around the garden in his pedal kart.

[Uncle Jack (Mackay) is Dora's mum's brother, (her uncle). Uncle Ernest is Dora's mum's brother-in-law, (was married to Auntie Meg - her uncle). Auntie Meg is Dora's mum's sister, (her aunt) and Nanny and Pa Thomas are Dora's mum and dad.]
The group walk, with Jill and Dora, about the road and garden in front of Rondor. Jill and Pa dance together.

Mick and Jill play outside the house, Jill pushing Mick in a wheelbarrow. Dora opens a window and the children wave to her. Ron pushes Mick down the driveway on the sack truck as Jill walks alongside.

Susan and baby Stephen sit on the grass in the front garden of Rondor, then Margaret and Wilfred then join in.
Title - "1948 Rose Cottage Swinton Aunt Ana in Residence"
Aunt Ana, (Christiana Cooper - Ron's Aunt) Jill and Mick walk through the gate and up the path towards the cottage. Ma and Pa Cooper are also there (Ron's parents - Ana is Pa Cooper's sister). Jill, Mick, Dora, Ma Cooper, Aunt Ana and then Pa Cooper come out of the doorway of the one-bedroomed cottage (built by Ron's great-great grandfather and was lived in by the Cooper family it stands on the bottom of East St, in Swinton) and line up alongside. Shot of Ma, Aunt Ana, Pa and Ron Cooper. Aunt Ana is sitting on a chair just outside the door when Mick runs and sits on her lap and they both wave to the camera.
Mick and another boy, both wearing grey overcoats and caps - possibly a school uniform - play near some rocks, then on the grass.
View across a village. A young woman climbs a rock and a man talks to Mick and the other boy. They sit on a rock and the man points things out to the boys. Later, Ron sits on the rock and talks with the boys.
Jill sits in a front window of Rondor. A baby picture of Mick that has been taken by a professional photographer is displayed in an album. Dora read the book - "Forever Amber" in the living room.
Mick and the young boy sit on the bank of a lake. The boy stands on an upturned wheelbarrow, using his feet to spin the wheel and the man helps Mick hold a knife to the wheel as they pretend to sharpen it.
Dora, Jill and Mick stand outside Rondor. Two young girls , their mum and an elderly lady join them.
Jill wears an overcoat and hat and carries a leather satchel on her way to school. Susan and Stephen Rigg walk down their driveway - also possibly going to school.
