A large crowd of men and women pass a policeman as they file into see the coffin lying-in-state. There is a brief shot of some Queen's Foot guards and Horse Guards standing guard around the coffin.
The Mayor and his officials file out of a building and gather on a balcony. Several men make speeches to the hundreds of police officers, guards and spectators waiting below. There is a panning shot of the crowd and then a shot of the officials making their way out of the building and onto the street. The large parade of Mayoral officials, the police marching band, police officers and nurses, makes its way down the road and into another building. When they come out again, more speeches are made to the waiting crowds.
