This amateur film was taken during a family holiday to Devon.  It features footage of a seaside resort as well as leisure time spent on the beach.   The film opens with a panning shot of a Devon seaside resort.  We see the mother and her children on the promenade.  They then play on the beach in the sea shallow.  There is footage of the beach, the people on holiday there, and children having fun.  Children and mother run up and down the beach and along the shallows.  Sometime the mother hovers the girl over the water whilst the boy plays in the sea. The film continues to show long shots of the resort with some of the cliffs that jut out into the sea. They go to the beach another day and set up an awning where they have a table and chairs to keep them in the shade.  They appear to be in a large group of people.  The family then take a walk along the beach.  Some of the group then go swimming in the sea.  The film then shows more of the beach and the family and other holiday makers having fun.  The father pushes the children around in a lido.   Another sequence starts showing them with friends posing for the camera on both the promenade and the beach.  On a more deserted part of the coastline they stand with some horses.  The film closes with brief scenes of the family having a picnic in a garden.
