Title: U.T.U. Drama Presents ‘A Christmas Carol’
A group of actors come out onto a stage dressed in Victorian costume and begin to sing ‘God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen’. The singers leave the stage, the curtain opens, and the production begins in the office of Ebenezer Scrooge.
The production continues with the visitations first of Jacob Marley and then by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The audience laughs at appropriate times.
The production comes to an end and the cast come forward and begin to sing ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’. The curtain closes, but some members of the cast and crew come forward and a bouquet is presented, and thanks are given to others. The film ends with a gift being given to a young girl, the youngest member of the cast. Everyone applauds.
