The film opens with a brief shot of some sailing boats at sea. This is followed by women parading around in a circle in their swimming costumes in front of a crowd. The two women at the end are wearing older swimsuits, are wearing hats, and are carrying small parasols. The women then form a line and walk up to collect trophies. The winners are applauding by the spectators. Back out at sea there are several rowing boats. It looks as though the two large boats are in a race.
