This is a film of the 21st Charter Day anniversary of the charity organisation, the Inner Wheel Club of Hull (established for the wives and daughters of Rotarians, prior to Rotary Clubs becoming open to women). The film begins by showing a programme for the 'Inner wheel club 21st charter day anniversary' 1959. The celebratory cake has a picture of a boat steering wheel, and the words, 'Inner Hull Wheel'. A group of women are stood chatting with drinks in hand, in their best coats and all wearing hats. They form a queue to sign a book. They are joined by some men, including the Lord Mayor, who also signs. The guests also queue to shake the hands of the attending dignitaries stood in a line. Photographs are taken of those present. Candles are lit on the tables and they all sit down to eat and converse. Afterwards speeches are made with presentations.
