The man and the boy lead two horses out of the stable yard, and the mother stands by the gate. The man returns to lead another horse out of the yard. The two boys the father and a girl play rugby in the garden. The two boys the father and the girl ride horses around a large paddock and make them jump over hurdles. The horse that the father is ridding hesitates at the hurdles. Two boys lift the beam back onto the posts when it is knocked off. Three boys, two girls and the father play a game of cricket in the garden. The father and mother sit on a bench in the garden together. A woman in a suit dress walks from the house towards the garden. Two girls walk from the end of the garden together and walk with a woman towards the front of the garden. The woman sits on the bench with the others. The mother and father walk out of the house together linking arms. Three horses graze in the field. Four boys and a girl walk into the field. They are carrying shovels and a broom as they walk past some chickens. A girl gathers the three horses up in the field, and two women watch from the edge of the garden. The father stands with the girl in the fields stroking the horses. In the garden the girl roles up a hose pipe onto a reel. Two dogs run around on the tennis court. A boy walks through the field past the chickens carrying a metal kettle. The girl throws a ball for the dogs on the grass. The mother sits on the bench at the side of the tennis court watching the two boys and the girl play a tennis match. The father sits next to the mother on the bench smoking a pipe. The mother and father join in the tennis match. At the side of the garden a boy takes a drink from a glass bottle. The family then play a game of cricket. This is followed by a match of mixed doubles tennis. The two boys and the father ride their horses down the road, past residential houses, with the dogs following behind them. The dogs run around the fields. The mother and the girl walk around in the horse field. The two dogs run towards the horse in the field. The girl strokes the horses and plays with the dogs in the field. The film closes as the mother and father walk in the garden with the dogs.
