The farmer leads the bull out of the stable yard. The countryside hilltops are covered with thick snow. The girl sits inside the family car down a snowy country road. In the garden a boy is combing a long haired dog on the grass. The countryside and lake are next to white farm houses, and the waves on the lake are rough and choppy. Castle ruins are also visible in the countryside. In the garden a girl is kneeling next to a ferret run. The ferret climbs up the cage and walks over the top of the cage. A long haired dog sits next to a girl standing in the garden with a brown shoe. A red car pulls out of a turning (JAK 941) and drives through the village. The mother and daughter stand at the top of the steps outside a hotel. The father joins them and they walk down the steps to a large lawn where they play a round of golf. The girl runs up the steep hill towards the front of the hotel, racing her father who runs up the stone steps. A boy dives into the indoor swimming pool and comes out of the water through the red rubber ring. The two boys dive into the water and swim in a race against each other. The father swims in the pool with his sons, and three boys play fight in the water over the rubber ring. Cars are parked in a field where sheep are being herded over hurdles by sheep dogs. A man walks with his sheep dog from the car to the field. The man gives orders to the dog to make him round up the sheep and chase them into a wooden pen. The mother and the two boys stand at the side of a country lane where they watch the competition. Another man walks from his car with his sheep dog and rounds up the sheep in the same way. Two sheep dogs lay down next to the parked cars. A boy walks from the car, and he is carrying a tennis racket. Surrounding the tennis courts are hills and woodland. A man sits on the bench where he is holding a camera. He is sitting with the mother and daughter and raises his camera and takes a photograph of the filmmaker. The mother and father sit on the bench together. The film closes as people are playing games on the lawn at the bottom of the hotel. The father plays a game of croquet.
