This film documents a family trip to Italy and the children's school sports day. Also included in this film is a day trip to the countryside where the children fish in the river with the dogs and visit religious buildings. The film opens with a group of men who stand together in a car park in an Italian city. A horse monument is in the centre of the car park, and a man in a grey suit stands looking at a long line of cars (600 EMD). Father walks towards the cars that are parked from a line of shops (UGOTTI_ _ TESSUTI - SANTAGOSTINO), and the rooftops of the city and the canals can be seen. Buses and cars travel through the city streets, past a stone monument with several figures on next to a palm tree. A traffic policeman stands in the middle of a crossroads directing traffic (PARCHEGGIO). Tourists pass the leaning tower of Pisa. Buses and cars pass buildings with columns in the city (PAVIVSVBV RGHESIVS ROMANVS). Two girls in blue dresses sit on the steps of the building as a man wearing a suit and hat talks to them. There are also two uniformed guards who stand outside the building next to the columns. A boy walks the longhaired dog along the river, and he stops to fish at the side of the river, next to a stone bridge. Within the woodland is an abandoned stone cottage. Next to the woodland is a religious building, most likely a synagogue, with what looks like either the Star of David or the Jewish Star. A wooden cross is placed at the head of a grave. Exteriors of the religious building and views from the top of the hill. There are pink roses in the flowerbeds. The mother collects berries and fruit from the trees and bushes. Her son sits on the ground where he picks fruit from the low branches. The final scene is of a school sports day where many sporting events take place. These include the high jump and three races of boys' one hundred meter sprint (winner 100). The children wear white shirts and shorts, and the boys judging wear blue and red striped blazers and caps. There are also four sprinting races, sack race, wheel barrow race, egg and spoon race, relay race. In the centre of the race track the children line up in rows and do star jumps and stretches.
