The film opens with a shot of a brochure, entitles 'Invitation to Jersey'. It show St. Helier, the capital, and the indoor market there with stalls of fruit, flowers and vegetables. The filmmakers stay at the Monterey Hotel. At the Jersey Pottery Gorey Village, pottery is shown being made in moulds, then sent to the kilns and painted. The goods are displayed in the shop and people sit in the outside caf? eating strawberries and cream. Mont Orgueil Castle is shown, with Janice lounging by the sea in the nearby village smiling, and some elderly ladies who are sitting on a bench. Back at the Hotel people are lounging around the swimming pool. A map shows St Brelades Bay where people are on the beach. There is a park with a plaque for Winston Churchill and a waterfall.
A map then shows St Aubin's Bay where there are sailing and other boats. Two people in a small sailing boat capsize. The members of the Cine Club walk around the model village and browse around the gift shop before going to the caf?. They then visit the Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust, explaining its history and purpose, showing many of the animals kept there, such as gorillas. The film closes as they have more tea and cream cakes in another caf?.
